Hilarious

 The day did not start pleasantly, as expected. Met daughter at 0:30, when we wanted to use the loo at the same time. We had a short talk then continued our ways to the respective bedrooms. At two I was up again and decided to keep it this way. Went down to the kitchen and made me a cup of coffee while preparing a light breakfast for daughter. The moment we left the house I noticed that I had forgotten to tarp the car- ice everywhere. Instead of two degrees plus we got two negative. But the stars looked nice when daughter and I scraped the ice from the windshield and the side windows, carefully avoiding swearing too loudly- there were neighbours asleep, lots of them! I was in bed for maybe two hours when my handy beeped. Daughter, as always! A lady from London had come to the check-in, using her newly acquired language skills by telling her "wir haben Sex". When daughter whispered "maybe dinner first" and others began to laugh the lady recognised that something she had said was not quite right. She had meant to say that there were six persons in her group of travellers- wir sind sechs. We was okay, but sind turned into haben and sechs and sex mean completely different things. Okay, the German word sechs always sounds like a hissing, angry cat with chs as the final letters. You need a lot of practise to pronounce it correctly...
The rest of the day got spent with glass cleaning, restructuring the content of the glass cases (Scabbers is missing :( ), emptying three buckets of junk into the bin, LEGO building (bag number six), hanging up the washing and being tired. Reading was impossible- after two minutes my eyelids drooped. I swear that I won´t sleep in front of the TV today but will go to bed early...
