Best sleep since a long time! I went to bed at ten, did a bit of Youtubing and slept until six thirty in the morning. I did more Youtubing then and finally got up to do breakfast for three. So Nutella and jam for the boys it was while I had cheese and ham. Now I had to send hubby out or more bread- strange that with only one person more in the house we need so much more food! Son must be very hungry...
It was cold this night- minus six. And we got snow again. Fortunately not much, so that our private snow clearance service did not have to happen.
Hubby was off to do grocery shopping while son and I turned the heater in the conservatory on and continued with Barad-dûr. We did not get along far- first we were not able to piece together, because the blocks refused to stick, then more and more blocks were missing. Hubby will bring and old box with Lego up from the basement tomorrow, and we will try to substitute. My personal guess is that the tower will remain unfinished- a ruin so to say. The missing entry door might have been funny even- not even Rapunzel liked to be locked up, so why would Saruman, but when one cannot get to the next level it gets simply annoying.
Not much got done otherwise save for bringing in firewood, lots of it (we did not make it over zero today), with me doing a proper examination of each piece. Not that a new generation of spiders will get set free in our living room! Cooking got done with hubby and son- palatschinken with Mexican sauce. After a short after-lunch nap I started with repairing number four´s t-shirts. No clue what he is doing to them, but they all look awfully battered! Hubby did another drive to the food shop, the first hundred meters with neighbout´s cat on top of his car. Schnuckely can be very stubborn when she wants to be with us! In the late afternoon son number one called hubby. Next week might be an interesting one- on Tuesday DiL number one will go to the hospital for induction of labour. Since her mum is on vacation (lucky her) it is us who have to take care of Oscar and Xaver- do dinner, shoo them to bed, wake them in the morning and bring the younger one to school. Hubby decided that he´ll stay at their house during night, if grandson number six will take his time to appear. And I might have a free evening! Wish us luck!
