...at four in th the afternoon, after an afternoon with Lego building, rearranging my favourite books (yay, my Wraeththu books are out of their hiding place behind a row of cooking books), rearranging the glass cabinrt in the studio (my Hungarian horntail, borrowed by Cassian, made it back in one piece but was the ultimate toy brought to kindergarten today), more flower potting thanks to hubby bringing more pansies and finally doing bike races- good that we live in private road with next to no traffic! Mummy came back from Vienne to pick her boys up- now we are free again! Funniest thing was that DiL complained that her husband had not taken the boys home overnight (and brought them to kindergarten himself- without car, of course). Poor son- he will have a hard time at home now that his wife knows about his three children-free nights at home, while she was supervising the installation of her paintings. I see a lot of cooking and children-duty ahead for him! But not once one of the children had asked for their parents, they were content with living at our house, were well-behaved though too loud for old me, did sleep without mishaps (that´s Flavius´s specialty), and no getting up early. To the contrary, we always had problems to get them ready for showing up in kindergarten at eight, because the two decided that getting up at 6:45 was nice all of a sudden- at home they are out of the bed before six.
Husband has made two sheets of pizza for today´s lunch, but only one got eaten. So we will have pizza for tomorrow evening, when we will come back from Elsa´s birthday party near St. Pölten. No need to pick pizza up from the pizzeria on our way home. When browsing I found an older menu card of said pizzeria- my favourite pizza was eight euro then. Now we are up to fifteen! And the pizza isn´t as good as it was back then!
I will go downstairs now to remove all toys from the living room and will put the cake DiL brought us in compensation for supervising her offspring in the fridge. The toy house will stay off the basement this time- Flavius loves to play with the tiny dolls. Only the rocking horse got exchanged for a fire engine- one has to compromise! Besides, I am pretty sure that there´ll be a reencounter soon...
