Back from St, Pölten
Mar. 8th, 2025 07:27 pm I woke at seven, had a look at the weather forecast on my mobile- nothing new there, sun, no clouds and 22 degrees, then got up, put my mobile into a basket together with nosedrops and a book, had a shower, breakfast, and off we were. Hubby was driving, so I fished out the mobile for a bit of reading- and got the display of doom. Black. Nothing worked, even though I had charged the darn gadget. Hubby stopped, we tried, but nothing worked. I had to resort to reading the book, which was not so easy, because it´s in English, which means I need a dictionary, which is, of course, on my mobile. Hard luck!
Traffic was awful, but we made it in time for lunch. Elsa was clinging to me the way Flavius always does. No room for my godchild- poor Matthäus! Elsa got her presents and was happy. Her brother was even happier, because he got a toy car, even though it was not his birthday. Bit by bit more relatives showed up for coffee and cake. Son number three was not so happy, he is sick again. Coughing, sneezing, feverish, so he sat apart from the guests, to not infect others. Now I hope that this worked, I do not need another round of the sniffles!
At four hubby was done with celebrating, and we started the drive back home, with me as the driver and a detour to a farm store which also sells fabulous coffee. I bought a kilo for 40 euro, but it´s worth the price. Believe me, I drank less coffee with the last bag but enjoyed each and every cup- so much better than the coffee we usually bring home from the shops!
At home I went to the studio to recharge my mobile- and all of a sudden display was back again. One day I will kill that darn thing! But not before I have uploaded photos and data into the cloud...
