Travelling with insect spray

 Hubby and I got up earlier than usual, no more able to sleep with all that traffic outside. Pentecost is evil concerning traffic. To hubby's amusement I took insect spray with me, in case another spider had made it into the car. Hubby does not care, I do... We left at eight thirty and passed by the traffic jam on the opposite direction- 49 kilometres, possibly record-breaking! Hubby did all the driving today- first to St. Pölten, lots of traffic, of course. We had Barbecue (well done, son) together with son's mother-in-law. DiL still hopes I won't get along well with her- not a chance! Elsa was her usual self, loud, hyperactive. Matthäus is so different- more quiet, absolutely funny. And he looks cute even with glasses! At some point we had to get inside- quite a thunderstorm happened. When we left, we noticed that there had been flooding not far away, people were hosing their dirty pathways! Still traffic jam on the motorway, so we had to do a detour. At home only 14 degrees and heavy rain- Pentecost has arrived the way it always does. So no tiling for the next days! Well, I am not sad about this! The next days will be for recreation only!
