About the play

 It was painful, really painful to watch. Sis and I did debate with the other people in the intendant box, who thought very much the same. Turned out that one of them was the husband of one of the actors:)) Stage version was the opposite of great- one line of thought after another, no coherence. About the author I only know that she is a local celebrity. Everybody's darling here. I can't say that I love to read her essays in the paper, because it's not mostly but always the same topic, and no new ideas how to cope with it to be found. It's like a repeat- hit on mankind but give no advice. Maybe she should have started with telling women to educate their sons the right way. I at least tried with mine- they do (most of the) housework, do parental leave, are there for their children, don't drink, don't smoke, meet their best buddies maybe twice a year. As a quid pro quo I got three DiLs who wear the trousers... You won't hear about education of children in the author's essays, even if it's a necessity. Seems that the paper itself has no problems with ignoring the fact that emancipation won't happen without women doing their part. Sis will bring the original book with her when she meets up with her daughter next week. If I am lucky, I won´t have to read it...
The heat is overwhelming- 26 degrees, oh my good! In the middle of June! Hubby has braved most of the tiling, withstanding the onslaught of high temperatures! I even managed to continue with the jigsaw, which I hate when it's hot in the conservatory. So good that it isn't hot! Not that I was able to find more than a few pieces...
In the afternoon number two phoned to tell us that their flight back has been accelerated, the family will arrive at Salzburg trainstation around five in the afternoon on Saturday. Our mostly grandchildren-free days are coming to an end:( That´s why I arranged a drive to my favourite shopping centre together with a ´friend´. It´s the one who makes a run for the toilet when it comes to paying a bill in a restaurant- and almost always gets away with her stunt. No wonder that she suggested a visit to a cafe after shopping!
Today I got a good view of the Strawberry Moon, first from the bathroom window in the evening when I went to bed, then when I was off to the airport. Looked impressive, but taking a good picture was neigh impossible...
