Jun. 11th, 2025 06:25 pm Got up at two thirty, had a lovely cup of coffee and a crossword puzzle then left with daughter. No moon seeable, though it did not seem cloudy at all. Must have been all that smoke in the air, because it was not yet time for the moon to set. Well, I'll give it another try tomorrow at the next early morning drive!
I did pork saltimbocca for lunch, and I had to do so early, because daughter needed to get picked up at 12:30, and hubby was in working mode instead of driving mood again. The main part of the terrace is tiled now, half of it grouted. Robby cleaned the pool- thanks to the wonderful weather no one had been able to make use of it until now. Might be that hubby will brave the cool water today, I won't be in until thermometer will show 23, 24 degrees. Have to think of my sensible bladder! The washing- two full machines, how did it come to this- is drying on the lawn, getting blown over occasionally. Another windy day with moderately warm temperatures, definitely not what I want and need from summer! Now it's into the shower then manicure done by daughter then dressing up and off to the bus. I will meet with sis at six for a glass of I do know yet, then theatre, then bed...
