Since Livejournal is inexplicably slow these days, I decided to make a post before it vanishes again for an indefinite period of time. Nothing important, as always, I only wanted to tell you that I am doomed when it comes to reading.There´s only one way for me to read a book: take it, read it to the end and check if there are sequels. If yes, buy them and read them, too. Pray that the author doesn´t write another book based on its forerunners. My mind is a capricious one, there are times when it considers itself satisfied with the author´s input, patiently following the characters´ fates. Unfortunately, more often it takes on a life of its own, rearranging the plot, twisting it to a new outcome, especially when I have to put my reading stuff away to proceed with real life´s tasks. For example, Helm´s Deep in LOTR ended more likely the way Peter Jackson did in the movie, and first class sissy Legolas was sent into the orc-eating woods to give him the shock of his life. I really should not have stopped at the wrong point in the book. The woods must have left some imprint on the poor lad, because even in Jackson´s picturization he looked haunted constantly. The Kamagrians in Wraeththu were met with a profound dislike, because said mind felt duped. Finally no more competition between males and females, because those participants left were both, even if they tended a bit more to the masculine side! Yay, said the mind and high fived itself, no more troubles with females, finally! Ha! You should have seen my mind´s face when those Kamagrians turned up, turning its storyboard upside down. I did not like them, too, because I am loyal to my mind, and, although I am female, I always greatly disliked when authors brought out the "we females are better than men" attitude. Nevermind, the main thing I wanted to tell you that I´ve bought the Nightrunner series. All books, of course. I won´t be online this much for the next days, snuggled in my bed with tea for the cold, my ebook reader and a dictionary. Dear mind, this time you´ll stand no chance of drifting off!

Only thing I remember is that the kamagrians exist. But I like to be female and am proud of it. Get well soon and tell us how i went with the nightrunners!
