Since it was so cold today I decided to postpone my shopping trip to the supermarket and did a stocktaking of the food stored in our fridges instead. Found another package of kimchi and decided to do Korean pancakes. Daughter loves them, hubby hates them and I am in between- I like the taste but not what they do to my digestive system. Only yesterday I read that a heat wave is supposed to come rolling along, what I did not hold in my head was where this rare event will happen. Can´t be here, because we are in the last days of spring, it has been raining all day long and it has been 9 degrees in the afternoon. Now that it´s evening the sun is coming out. Hubby has turned off the central heating but has kindled a fire in the fireplace.
Elsa has imposed her cough on me. When she came she was not coughing at all, but next day there it was! Her parents were delighted, they had feared their daughter would have to get through a whole week without coughing and sneezing. That would have been so very unusual! I hate coughing and will have to stock up on cough syrop and asthma inhalers.
I have finished the crocheting part of the baby blanket, the only thing that has yet to be done is the darning in of the myriad of threads. For this I will have to do a tripinto town. I have misplaced my embroidery needles- all of them! Next project will be a crocheted jumper for Elsa. Found some cotton yarn when clearing out some boxes. It´s either crocheting or dumping it- I opted for the first. BTW, Elsa loves her white dress- she promised me to only eat Vanilla ice when wearing it!
