noadvertisingIt gets better and better! Yesterday evening hubby told me that Cassian will join the gang for three days. Not all day long, but hubby will fetch him in the morning, and his mother will pick him up after work. The legendary Salzburg Pentecost festival is on again! Today it was three in the afternoon when daughter-in-law was done. Hubby made pizza for all of us, which was a tedious process of rolling flat then garnishing the dough. At pizza number ten our oven decided to go on strike. Hubby had to wait until it had cooled down a bit then quickly finished the last two exemplars. Our oven does not like to work at full power for too long. At least the kitchen was warm and cosy, in contrast to the rest of the house. Outside it was a nice ten until the afternoon, when the sun showed up for about two hours. Now it is raining again...
Daughter and me decided to watch the Song Contest finale today. I bought chips and nuts, and we promised hubby to behave. We will watch it in my mini studio, because the guestroom is next to the living room, separated by a thin wall only, on which hubby has put up the TV. It´s either watching telly at low volume or rouse Elsa from sleep, which would be bad in case her parents weren´t back from dinner yet. Daughter has brought some additional blankets to the studio which should keep us warm enough to make it to the end of the contest. We will watch the singing part only, because it is so much fun to hear all that trash. The voting is of no importance to us. Sadly FM 4 does not broadcast the competition anymore. Those two satirists who got engaged were famous for their caustic commentaries! We always had the TV without sound on and listened to the commentators. It was hilarious!
