Number four and five are peculiar. Let me explain this by this example: They had not left the house save for work since they came back home for summer break. Always been at home, monopolising the bathrooms, always hungry. Now that covid numbers are skyrocketing they are off each and every evening, to meet with friends, go to bars... That´s what you call good timing for idiots.
And hubby? Something must go seriously wrong up his brain at times. I told him that number two´s wife was to come for coffee in the afternoon (to give us the date of the days we will have to take care of her young one), and that he should shop cake, to lighten my mood. He indeed purchased a teeny-weeny strawberry cake which read ´freshly-made´ but was still frozen. Besides, he already knew that number one plus his two boys was on the way to our house but forgot to tell me. Had I known this, my grocery list would have had two cakes, medium size, on it. So we had three children fighting over ice cake. And after cake was gone they ate all of hubby´s cookies. Serves him right!

Perhaps that will be a lesson for him. One can always hope...
