After three days of constant sneezing during night (it´s because of the hay our farmers are trying to get into the barns) we are back to routine. Yesterday ended with a big thunderstorm in the evening and hubby and me sitting in the dark for some time- huzzah, power blackout again. In the morning weather was fine again, so I put on my swimsuit and sat on the terrace. Nope, swimming had to wait, too cold for it- at eleven in the morning it was 19 degrees! I did lunch instead, the main meal of the day here. Dinner usually gets skipped. Breakfast like an emperor, lunch like a king, and dine like a beggar, that´s what we do. Hopped into the pool before lunch, had lunch, redressed for bathing- next thunderstorm was here. Totally not funny :( There´s few days without thunder and rain now, and temperatures are meagre. If you take into account that summer will soon be over my wish for relocation to a country with warmer temperatures gets harder to ignore. I remember those weeks of summer spent in Rome, in the guestrooms of a convent on a hill next to the Vatican, dad working while the rest of the family was lazing in the garden in the heat of the town in July, before we explored Rome together in the afternoon, when dad was back. I think there´s still the possibility of overnight stay in the convent, if Casa Emilia is that place. I do not remember the name nor does my sister, but the view is the same...
Daughter-in-law number two will arrive around 12 PM on Wednesday, and at that point the guestroom has to be cleared off all things that have wandered up from the cellar. In case the weather will be warm enough for bathing Oscar and Xaver will show up also. I told son number one to never ever again bring more than one pool thing for each child. Last time it was a constant hassle with changing either swimming aids, bathing trunks or aquatic toys. It´s one thing or nothing, that´s the rule here from now on!

Pool water was warm enough for bathing, while the air was mot.
