Since weather forecast told us that from Wednesday on we are supposed to have rain hubby and I decided to do absolutely nothing today but crossword puzzles and reading- of course, after having done the daily cleaning. Half an hour later hubby was on the way to fetch a study desk for number four´s new room- second-hand but as good as new. Smaller than the beautiful glass one number four has at home, but I am not so sure of this. The thing is huge! But it is much more stable than a glass desk, which is good in case son has one of those fits of anger when gaming goes awry!
After lunch (chicken noodles) we all had a nap on the terrace. Even son joined us during his break, but occupied the only shady place. We weren´t able to put up the sunshades because hubby has already stored them away, just before the weather decided to give us a hint of what should have happened during summer. I brought my knitting project out. It´s progressing steadily, I have done back part, two front parts and one sleeve up to the armpits. Next sleeve tomorrow, then I will have to decide if I will knit the rest raglan style. And how to add the jelly bag cap...
Cassian will be with us on Wednesday and Thursday. There´s something not quite okay with the baby-to-be´s kidney, so more tests are in order. Means that I have to take down the ironing station for a while. Last time the little one managed to switch on the iron. I do not need a repeat! I wonder if I will manage to finish the knitting project until this weekend and maybe get a nice pair of trousers that matches the colours! And sweets! And a new dress for Elsa´s Baby Born! Would be awesome if I´d be able to send a parcel with nice things to quarantined Elsa!

We had a hot day, too — of course when I had to clean the entire flat on my own!
I hope your knitting project will progress, regardless of the family emergencies interfering.

I now know that I do not have to look at the knitting to advance. Eyes on Cassian, needles in hand!

You are the first person I've come across with a glass desk apart from us! S2 C had a lovely glass desk for about ten years now — but since we moved to this house he has a new wooden one, and now I have his glass one upstairs in the spare bedroom where I use it for my laptop, sometimes, and as a writing or sewing desk at other times I still love it.

I love glass desks! I´d love to swap son´s with mine, which is a sturdy wooden one, but alas, son´s is too big for my mini studio!
