Out of country

Only a very short post today done from an Italian restaurant, where I ended up with a friend. We did a long shopping tour, though we did not shop much. I wanted to get a dollhouse for Cassian, like the one Elsa got from me, but the one I was looking for was already sold out. My hope is that Elsa won't take hers to her home this time, so that I will be able to finally purchase one they can play with at our house. Not too costly, with sturdy walls and sturdy furniture. Anyway, we did not find what we were searching for but got hungry instead. And now I eat spaghetti Carbonara Bavarian style. Oh dear, why do the owners of restaurants always think that they have to adapt their dishes to German sense of taste?

That they are indeed! In my forgotten youth I once visited the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam; they had a doll house exposition, which was a delight. And so is Queen Mary's doll house in Windsor Castle.
