A tale of two princesses...

Family number three has arrived in the afternoon. Elsa is a notorious nuisance when things won´t come to pass according to her ideas, and so is her mum. Must run in the family... So when son and family arrived we had two very unhappy ladies in the house. Since bad things, like good things, come in threes often, the irritation the two princesses were in was totally understandable. First of all today is Elsa´s mum´s birthday, and she had intended to spend it with her mother. Only that her mother had to spend a big part of today in hospital for another treatment of her broken leg, and son had already fixed the arrival date at our house. Secondly- DiL is pregnant, and pregnant women need a toilet more often, which complicates an almost three-hour drive. There´s a lot of toilet facilities along the motorway, but most of them are simply disgusting. I think they wrestled their way to our house from rest house to rest house... And thirdly: Elsa did the trip diaper-free. You know where this one goes. Rest houses you do not find that often. And definitely not when you need one most urgently. To cut the story short: granddaughter peed herself, and first thing son did after arriving was pull off the seat cover and put it in the washing machine, while DiL put her daughter into the shower. Now both princesses are nursing their displeasure, one in bed, the other in front of the TV. I have bowed out to type my daily entry. If I am lucky, at least one of the princesses will be in bed already when I have finished my entry and go back down...

She was mostly upset that she´d been put in diapers for the rest of the travel!
