noadvertisingIf I want to do the baby blanket I need a pattern for all rectangles first, not only for the letters and the hearts. I need more, for instance those smileys seen on one of the blankets the lady has posted. Now I have played the funny game "How to enlarge a photo" for half an hour. No chance, until I put the tiny photo I found into a Word document and enlarged it there. Okay, this will work. Now I need more, which means I have to be a bit inventive. Take 19 stitches and 26 rows, and put a bobble stitch star into the rectangle. And a duck, maybe. Only if I have all the patterns I need I can do a battle plan for the colours. Double yikes! At least I can make use of the coloured pencils I gifted Cassian...
Outside there´s another snowstorm rattling the blinds. Yes, I have indeed closed some of the blinds during day. Lights have to be on anyway, because it´s so dark outside. I would not mind if the snow would stay at the North Pole, where it belongs. Don´t need it, don´t want it. Besides, tomorrow there will be rain again. No fun for those who have to go outside today. Even hubby preferred a good, long, nap after lunch and has forsaken his obligatory trips to the shops. The only thing that made him leave the house after breakfast was that he had to pick up Oscar´s birthday cake from the confectioner then take the presents and put all in front of number one´s house. Luckily this one´s front door is roofed over! Poor Oscar, it´s his birthday, and he´s the only one who feels a bit sick, the other three had a running nose for two days, and that´s it!

Omicron is peaking over here, and the only branch of the family we still have contact with is unvaxxed — they all had Corona already, every single one of them, so they think they're protected, but won't risk coming over and endangering Mum, just in case...
