noadvertising I am getting too old for driving at 3:30 in the morning. It's not the getting up per se (might have done it anyway, for other reasons), but it's always the same: I go to bed early, snd even though I usually fall asleep the moment lights are out, will have wait for sleep until eleven or later, will be up at one again for forementioned reasons and get out of the bed at three like a zombie. Today I needed two cups of strong coffee to finally get awake enough for going out of the house. Next week there'll be two early shifts, oh joy! Then again, it's fun to fool around in the car on the way to the airport. And it's kind of nice to see the new light rolling in:
And there's plenty of time to catch up on sleep during day. Only that today I had to prepare lunch for hubby early then left for pharmacy and grocery shopping in Germany, was held in a traffic jam (yay, Pentecost ahead, which means holidays in Germany), met hubby again at number two's abode for helping him with bringing the smaller of the monsters to bed, drove back home to finally do a nap, napped for half an hour- and here they were! Two electricians wanting to install the new smart meter, a digital power meter. Took them about half an hour, and when they finally left, it was too late for napping. I think I should have stayed at son's house. At least my kitchen is very clean now, because I tidied everything up while the two troublemakers did their job!
