...for hubby it must have been, and a slightly impaired retentiveness. Because today, when I started to take down the washed linens, hubby told me he'd try something new with the sheets- I do not fold them properly, I take them down, reduce them in volume and stuff them into the sheet drawer. Hubby folded and folded, I watched and watched some more. When he had finished the project of wrestling two big sheets into obedience I asked him if he had gotten another commode for linens. Because I had done such folding weeks ago and noticed that I'd definitely need twice as much room for storing than before. And that I had told him so already. He agreed that folding was absolutely unnecessary from now on, our bedroom is too small for more commodes unless we stack them.
When I read the daily I realised that parts of Salzburg, particularly the inner city and the outer, more noble quarters, will be closed down for traffic on Sunday- it's marathon day! Until two thirty in the afternoon not even busses will go near the Festspielhaus. Hubby is searching for an alternate route. That's so typical for our town's policy- marathon and a concert in the early afternoon, the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. Well, we will manage!
I was uninspired as most of these days, did my usual chores, some crossword puzzles, some jigsaw (hate that thing, where pieces fit into places they don't belong), some cooking. In the afternoon the wood for the canopy got delivered and is blocking the carport for some unforeseen time. Nothing about the new tiles, which have to be laid first. Later hubby went to the spring fete of the kindergarten Cassian and Flavius attend- only one grandparent allowed, so go, hubby, go! Hubby was off for a concert in the evening- free three hours for me, but once again not visiting friends or neighbours, I do not want to give them my germs, besides, I will have to pick number four up at the train station, feed him then go to bed. Still coughing like a pro, but slowly, very slowly, it's getting better. It's about time!
BTW: Last night's dream was sbout my freezer. Now that I have fed it some quite expensive piece of salmon fillet- DiL insisted that only the seafood store in town offers proper fish for sushi- that darn thing, loud and too full with things not our own, was acting up in my dreams by simply exploding. I got up, went into the kitchen, and the fridge-freezer´s door stood wide open, its content scattered all over the kitchen floor, half of it trampled by husband mine, who was running along in drawers, mop in hand. Why can´t I have some nice dreams for once??? Have hubby replaced by George Clooney maybe? Or Alan Rickman? Okay, that would be creepy...
