Once I wrote a Wraeththu fanfic with the help of a dear friend, in which all characters had names out of the cat food department. I thought it to be funny and decided to expand it. Three weeks ago the word count was at 30 000, the fic still not finished, that would require about another 3000 words, which I wanted to add as soon as my muse was willing to cooperate again. Muse better come out of hiding now, because two days ago the author of the original story posted on her site the impending completion of a story with almost similar topic. Ha! What am I to do now? First of all I´ll have to replace the cat food names. Seriously, not even hara would name their offspring Coshida and Purina, and there´s more to come! We must have been high on champagner when writing this! Maybe by then my muse will reappear and together we´ll draft the worst Wraeththu fanfic ever! Fear not, I´ll post it to my fic journal only, to prevent you from having a coronary!

And why would you want to change the names? I´ve never laughed that hard reading this!

The story is not that funny, but the names make it sound that way, so I want to change them back into the original ones, or maybe other, more fitting ones. But that will take a long time, and I fear time is what I am running out of! Wish there was an option in Word that would change all of the names in one go!
