Sawed chillie peppers. Seed did not sprout. Bought two plants in a garden centre. Forgot to water them, will have to buy new ones. Sawed tomatoes. Seed did sprout. Plants are still tiny. May have tomatoes at the end of September, if at all. Thought I sawed cucumbers. Seed did sprout, indeed. 18 plants, already 80 cm high. Only it aren´t cucumbers but courgettes. I do not like courgettes. Seed was bought by my daughter-in-law-to-be, in Romania, tag in Romanian. That girl loves courgettes but has no place to keep them. Did I just uncover a conspiracy?

That´s how it is. Daughter-in-law-to-be came yesterday "looking if the plants were okay". Just you wait, girl!
