Here comes the sneezing...

So tired today, because I watched Oscar Night. Technically I went to sleep early, in front of the (switched off) TV, to catch a bit of sleep before the big show started, but I am not used to cats lying next to me, purring like motorboats and treading their claws into my poor pillow. I love my cats, but they are not allowed into the bedroom, because I´d begin to sneeze, and sneeze again...yes, I´m allergic to cats, but that does not mean I do not adore those little buggers! For the first time I did not fall asleep during Oscar Night, had to be the presence of my steady-sneezing and caughing daughter who did not attend school today because she´s caught a full-blown cold. Went to bed at half past six, got up at nine, did the cooking and a bit of cleaning and went to work. Came home at six, only to find a mail from son number three that I´d better help him with a transcription from kurrent to actual script, or he´d miss the deadline. Two pages dealing with poaching, forbidden use of old weaponries and ensueing verdicts, just what I like to read on evenings like this one, when I am dead tired and getting a cold, too! Should have confined daughter mine in her room, in front of her own TV, to not let her spread her germs in the living room! If only she´d share her stock of lozenges, my throat is on fire!
