Date of departure draws closer, and I am pretty sure these holidays will be a desaster. My daughter, who did not want to make the journey at all, complains of the bad weather in Ireland. That´s because we had summer, real summer these last days with temperatures way above 30 degrees, almost no rain and thunderstorms and, ergo, lots of fun in our swimming pool, her friends becoming an integral part of our household, which would be fine if there weren´t this many of them. There are a few more days left which she may enjoy in their company, but to the rest of the family it will be a blessing when there´s an end to the constant chit-chat of half a dozen of teenagers. I for one will try to finish my last silly story for this summer, because in Ireland I won´t be online, and when I get back, school will already have started. And yes, we´ll be two days late for this event, as always. So, please, keep your fingers crossed for me, that these holidays won´t turn into a complete desaster.
