Wow! This year we don´t even need water from the faucet to fill our swimming pool! It´s all coming from above! Snow, hailstorms, heavy rain have already filled up half of the pool during the last few days. And since weather forecast expects another three days of intense rain, we´ll be as good as ready for the bathing season, in case you like icy water and temperatures. They say it´s the ice saints. Only that that period of cold weather should last for a few days only. The saints came at the beginning of May and did not leave since then. They really seem to like the scenery we live in!

So LJ has once again changed its appearance! Oh my God! I haven´t seen letters that big for a long time, save for visits to my ophthalmologist. It's nice on my failing eyes, though I really do not like we have to blog now. I do not want to blog, I want to keep a journal, kind of, at least. Maybe the owners deem the current name Livejournal not modern enough and want to rename it into something more fitting, with a "blog" at the end. Nonetheless I won´t complain about the change, it has to be a form of widespread spring cleaning, an ubiquitous effort to create something new, at least once a year, to snub unsuspecting users, who now have to wander around, trying to pick the way through the maze that once had been a well-known playground. But why become upset about it? Google has done it recently, and it took me quite some time to rediscover all those tools I had become fond of. My web portals did it, both of them. The only difference was that the last three managed not to malfunction when conducting the change. LJ did collapse, even if only for a short period, hence a big minus to those who make a mess of everything they set about in this company!
