(no subject)

I have a memory like a sieve. Before I made a mental list for things hubby had to shop in town yesterday, I remembered that I had to buy something very, very important. When I took a pen to write all the things down for hubby only moments later, I had already forgotten about it. Well, I had not forgotten that I had to buy something important, I simply did not remember what it had been. I racked my brain for the rest of the day, and eventually gave up. This morning I grabbed my iPad, to enter the wonderful world of Facebook, still in bed of course, because there´s no better way than following the entries of friends and fiends while snuggling beneath a cosy blanket, only that all the snuggling and lazing about came to a sudden halt when I read "32 people made an entry to your friends timeline". That´s when I realised I had forgotten about my best friend´s birthday, and the one important thing hubby should have brought from town was the bird fat rings for the bird feeder I had bought at the craft fair for her birthday. Call me Lady Scatterbrain, please! That was a very long phone call I had to make today, to explain why for the first time for ages I forgot about the yearly birthday wishes! Thankfully my friend is the most forgiving person I know!
