Renovation work again...
Nov. 14th, 2015 06:58 pmGood thing is: I still have a bed to sleep in.
Bad thing is: This bed is really hard to find among all the debris, especially in the dark.
Good thing is: Hubby has stowed away personal documents on top of the bathroom cupboard.
Bad thing is: Vaire cat has found the documents and has skimmed through. Had no use for the stuff and therefore threw documents off the cupboard. Hubby will have to do a lot of reorganizing.
Good thing is: A lamp prevents that we´ll get stuck in the gap between old and new flooring when using the loo during night.
Bad thing is: I cannot sleep when there´s a beam of light creeping through under the door. Light tells me "Get up! Get up, it´s morning already!" Light is a bloody liar! It was two in the morning when I tumbled up from bed to make coffee, but clock radio isn´t to be seen, hidden as it is behind stacks of books.
Good thing is: I have weeded out my book collection.
Bad thing is: More books will have to go, because hubby ordered door frames way broader than the old ones, so one of the bookshelfes won´t fit into the space between the doors anymore.
Is anyboday out there willing to show hubby how to use a roll-up tape measure before I have to purchase new furniture which will fit into hubby´s wonderworld of refurbishing?
