Outside´s one of the worst thunderstorms we had of late, with hail and storm and so much rain that our street is flooded already. Hubby has opened the gully for the water to drain away more quickly. Hopefully our neighbour will not come back just now from wherever he was during the afternoon, because this one is a Johnny Head-in-the-air and will easily manage to drive his car into one of the two additional holes in the street. I do not easily go ballistic, but today I did, at least after I wanted to drive my car into the carport to shelter it from hail - yes, this time the weather app did send me a severe weather warning, and just in time- and found hubby´s trailer parked there, loaded with bulk rubbish that had not yet found its way to the rubbish tip. The boys were sopping wet after I sent them out to push the trailer out and put the car in the shelter, and quickly so! We decided that we will buy a hail protect complete for the second car, because it is well-nigh impossible to use the garage, when number two´s and three´s bikes are parked in there. It´s either cold and rainy or sunny and hot here, and you can bet if it´s hot another thunderstorm is looming ahead!
Apropos boy number four: Yesterday I drove him to a clothing store, to get him new underwear and joggers. To get socks and underwear was a quick affair, but with the joggers it took ages. I found him in the changing booth, loudly complaining about the lack of sizes the shop offered. Too small or way to big, and the one he was just trying on was so tight that he looked absolutely ridiculous. He changed back and went to put the jogger back onto the clothes rack. I quickly took it from him and sent our number four to the men´s department. It was ladies´ joggers he had been trying on. Fortunately, I wore my face mask which soaked up my tears of laughter. Son´s face was absolutely hilarious when he noticed his error!

Today´s newspaper had a drawing in it about the way many of us will have felt during these last weeks, when we were practically ordered to stay at home. Thankfully this is over, at least for now. Now let´s pray that people will stick to wearing masks and keeping distance, or we will be confined again, quicker than we think.
