Well, not me, of course, because we are still supposed to stay at home mostly and watch tourists touring. We are allowed to travel across our own country but the moment we want outside there are quite a few obstacles erected by our government to overcome. What I really wanted to tell is that Hannelore is back. She has gone missing more than a week ago. Today, when hubby emptied the trashbin, he found her marching along the house, towards the habitat she lived in before. Hubby picked her up and brought her to the neighbour. Neighbour was delighted, but where had the turtle been the last week? She always was either marching towards our garage or coming from there when we found her. She definitely cannot climb the wall behind our house. Hubby thinks that she might cross the garden at the backside to get to the small pond of another neighbour. Only that this neighbour has drained his pond some years ago. We have a tiny pond, a real tiny one, too. A few water plants, no fish, but occasionally tadpoles. We have searched for the turtle in there, but since this tiny pond has run wild over the years the water is too murky to see the ground. And why would Hannelore want to live there? That´s like having a house at Lake Wörth but preferring a swim in a puddle! Maybe Hannelore has run out of tadpoles and remembered that there had to be more in the huge pond where she has come from!
Hubby was nice and took Cassian over today. I woke in the morning with my left eye hurting and the skin red and swollen. I fear that´s a Hordeolum that will keep me from going out for the next days or longer even. Haven´t had one for many years...
Daughter mine will be off next week. She has some projects to do at the college. My hope is that she will clear her brother´s room of the things she has put in there when she started tidying her own room. She has to do so before she leaves, because brother will have a heart attack if he sees the chaos his sister has created!
