The wandering duvet

There's one thing in my bed I really like- and no, I'm not talking about my husband this time! Each of us holds sovereignty over one half of the bed, has to purchase own duvet and pillow(s). Bedding is my business, because husband mine tends to be colour-blind at times. Last year I bought me a new duvet. So very soft, so very pervious to air- and each time I change the bedding it's found on hubby's side of the bed. Hubby´s dovet is more solid, not as nice as mine. He tells me that it has to be Cassian who exchanges the duvets when he sleeps upstairs. As if a toddler of two years would drag the duvet across the bed in exchange of the other! No wonder I did sleep without duvet the whole week long because I felt so hot under it! Duvet is back on my side of the bed, now let's see if it is still there in the evening, because Cassian did his digestive nap in our bed as usual.
Hubby decided that making burgers for lunch would be nice. I seasoned the meat, he did the patties. And the onions. First thing I noticed was hubby coughing profoundly when doing so, so I wandered into the kitchen area. Bad idea, because now I started to cough, too. Cassian and daughter followed also. The air was permeated by some acrid smell. Turned out that hubby had added ´rings of fire´ to the cut onions when frying them. We fished those spicy chillies out then decided we needed unseasoned onions. The ones hubby had made were way too spicy! Three tiny slices in my burger, and my mouth was on fire!
Weather should have been fine today, at least until late afternoon, but was not. It was cloudy and very windy. Then at two PM sun showed up- for about one hour, then more and more clouds came in promptly followed by the first thunderstorm of the day. It´s 17 degrees now, and the whole rest of the week we'll stay under 20. That's no summer we have here, that's antedated autumn!
