Aug. 11th, 2021 06:52 pmFor a change we had Osacar and Xaver-day today. Oh my, what a drama because Xaver was not allowed to bath in the pool because he has a rather deep wound on his knee which does not heal quickly. Or, lets say, not fast enough for the upcoming holidays of his parents. Not that anyone would be bold enough to travel to Greece these days (the hotel number one had booked was near a seat of fire so they were able to cancel)- but they will do a week in a thermal bath now (costs more than twice as much, huzzah!), and with Xaver´s knee hurting it will not be possible for the young one to have fun! Since we still did not know if we´d have to take care of Cassian tomorrow hubby thought he´d better invite Oscar for a pool day tomorrow, while his brother is in playgroup. That man cannot live with young ones around! Must be because he has missed most of the childhood of his own children and tries to catch up on grandparenting now! Now I wish we had not given away all children´s books, because Oscar does either play on his tablet or read...

Unfortunately it won´t help if I beg for more days with higher temperatures to get a bit of late summer feeling, because next week we will be down to the customary 22 degrees...
