Huzzah! Summer!

Ultimately we had an Oscar and Cassian day today. Oscar came early in the morning and behaved so well that I feared someoe must have swapped the child for a replica. No tablet PC, no TV, no games...and he ate his lunch plus wanted another serving, swam like a pro and had lots of fun. The only thing that reminded me of the old Oscar was the constant switch between various swimware he had brought with. Cassian came in the afternoon from a visit to the oculist- half blind and very hungry. Tomorrow it will be both of them again. And we will have pancakes for lunch, which both of them love. Me, too, because pancakes are easy-peasy to do, so more time for swimming. Weather should be fine for two more days- not too hot but a bit windy. Then we will be back to rainy days again. For the first time since June I had to switch the aircon in the bedroom on- not because it was so hot inside but so very steamy after me having ironed eight wet blouses and two trousers fresh out of the washing machine in the adjacent mini studio! But I did not want to risk an oops-a-daisy with the boys, when the drying rack might have gotten a target of one of the many soccer balls!
