New bed needed!

When I entered daughter´s room today I was very afraid what I would find- most likely chaos and clothes strewn all over the floor. But there was nothing out of place! All clothes no more needed for this year were put back into her wardrobe, socks and underwear back in the boxes, her text books in the bookshelf. She must have tidied up before leaving- what a miracle! I only had to strip her bed- and found that working with a laptop when lying in bed is bad for the mattress, we will have to buy a new one. Or, even better, a new, wider bed. Even though after four months of sleeping on a narrow bed (and hers is narrow, she sent me a photo) her old one might feel like heaven. Poor girl will have to do her university chores while sitting at a table for the first time! Outrageous customs they have in Finland, forcing people to work while sitting upright! Since those fabulous box-spring beds are hard to get these days (delivery period up to two months for the narrower ones) I might do a trip to the furniture shop tomorrow, because- woot, woot- I do have a car tomorrow! Hubby will take his own car to Graz, where he has rented a transporter for son´s relocation!
