I so love my weather app!
Jan. 20th, 2022 07:54 pmApp told me that during night there´d be snowfall. It also told me to be aware there´d be strong winds around midday. And that it´d be cold from today on. When I did a first tour de loo at five in the morning and did a look out of the window I found stars, lots of them. At seven it got a bit windy, and soon afterwards it started to rain a bit. At twelve app said it was raining cats and dogs. Okay, now what´s that big shiny thing in the sky? I helped hubby remove the last string of lights off Tiny Tim, the cute thuja that made it over seven meters even though it was supposed to stay a midget. Even managed to get the garlands off the monkey tail tree- never again, that I can tell you! That thing is life-threatening! After a late lunch I retreated to the studio and finished sewing together the squares of the blanket and the pillowslip. Tomorrow it will be darning in threads, and then the rest of the wool will go straight into a plastic bag and off to the charity bin. Still wonder if somebody will be bold enough to make use of the yellow-orange-green sortiment of horror! And just when I thought that I better search for a more accurate weather app all hell broke loose outside. Storm, thunderstorm, snow- the curtain in front of the balcony door indicates the strength of the wind. It´s still billowing like mad, since hubby had not yet had the time to adjust the door- more that he did not feel like adjusting, I´d say! We are down to minus three now, it will be so much fun to scrape snow and ice off the windscreen and pick son up at the train station, at ten in the evening. It´s not that there´s no earlier train for him...
