Little helper was back
Feb. 17th, 2022 07:19 pmHubby and Cassian did grocery shopping. After a second breakfast with Krapfen the two of them picked up buckets and went to the field, to get some soil the moles had piled up. Hubby says it´s the best soil for the mirabelle tree, I think he simply does not want to drive to the garden center and buy quite a lot of sacks of garden soil. Tiny Tim has had a huge root stock, so there´s a really big hole to fill up though the mirabelle tree is in place now. Better run back and forth from garden to field and back again, besides, soil there is for free. Cassian was a very good helper with his small shovel, and I got a very dirty little man back!
Son will not come for work this weekend, he has caught a nasty gastrointestinal virus and thinks he better stay off his colleagues. Too bad, my sister will be here this weekend with his cousins! At least Lil will be here to entertain them! From March on he will no more work in the firm nearby. The four hour trip by train was too stressful(?) for him and he found work in Graz, to fill up his banc account.
Hubby is back to watching soccer, that´s why I am up in the studio earlier than usual. Not that I dislike soccer, but more than enough is too much. No more ghost games but lots of noisy spectators- thank you, but no thanks! I have a blanket to finish! Crocheting is all done, now it´s sewing up and even more sewing up. What a pity that Cassian won´t be able to assist with what he calls "scheren" , but I am not so sure that he would not cut a hole into the brandnew blanket when trying to be a helper!
Btw, I had to copy and paste my entry from DW, crossposting is indeed working no more. If this entry shows up a second time, DW is slow to catch up. But I fear the fault is with LJ...again...
