Hubby owes me...

...a new cookie jar. He insisted that I put the last batch of kimchi into my big, favourite one- which is now kimchi-only. It reeks, though I have put it into the dishwasher thrice today. After bemoaning the disloyalty of the jar I went into the garden and put foil over the branches of our fruit trees. It is snowing. Not hard, and the moment snow hits the ground it melts away thanks to the many days we had 20 degrees. Now we are down to minus one already, and as long as the trees are so tiny this might work to protect the buds. In five years we might need a ladder for doing this...
Neither knitting nor doing the new jigsaw is going well. I had to unravel the next attempt at doing Elsa´s sweater. Thanks to the newly learned correct curved cuff I could have kept the previous number of stitches- now the sweater is too big. We also noticed that there´s no perfect weather for doing jigsaws. If the weather is fine it´s always too hot in the conservatory, and if it rains it´s too dark. Artificial light won´t help, when 30 percent of the motif is almost the same shade of blue...
Husband has invited the whole family for Easter, which is okay with me. But I won´t do the lamb he wants. Never ever! I hate lamb, and he knows it. If he wants some, he can cook it himself!
Cassian had a present for my husband- a new book about a child sleeping at his grandfather´s place. Cassian gave it to him, when husband did some repair work at son´s house, then ran for his backpack. He was very sad that his parents did not allow him to drive off with hubby. This boy loves to be with us!
