Poor guy!

Cassian was not as his best today. Not only that, for the first time, his dad brought him back to his bed, after he had wandered from his room to his pa´s sleeping place, and thrice at that, he also suffers from a stiff neck done by the awkward sleeping position he got found in the morning- too many pillows under his head, but no duvet against the cold of the room. Say what you will, but a house at the foot of a mountain has its values only during a hot summer! Hubby and grandson took the free bus to a car museum about one hour away. Cassian loved the cars, but even more he was fascinated by the old tractors they had in the showroom! The two were back early, as expected, so only half a free day for me, and even that got shortened by me having to drive daughter mine to the airport for an interview. There has to be an invisible cord that pulls husband dearest back into the house after being away what he thinks is for too long...
I did not really cook today, only made a light soup, before the vegetables died on me, which happens now and then. And since I am supposed to cease to eat after five, I skipped the whole soup eating thing. I do not like vegetables anyway. Raw yes, cooked- a big no.
I think I will fail the handover date for the traditional jacket. All I have managed to knit until now is the knife pleat and one half of the back up to the armhole, yet my left pointer is covered with rash already thanks to the wool in the wool. I might cover the spot with plaster, but who knows if the rash won´t also spread to other places!
