on the way to the airport- full moon ahead

almost back home- daylight is on the way
Looking at our garden I had to laugh. When we built this house, hubby thought that vegetables and fruit trees would be nice. We also had cottage garden with flowers, herbs and pie plant- one day I watched one of my pie plants get dragged down into the earth by a vole, I swear I felt as if being in a Bugs Bunny episode! Then we got a pool, because husband likes to swim, and sawed the fruit trees down to get more room. And just now we are back to the beginning- new fruit trees, vegetables in places none would expect them- hanging from beams, stored in windowboxes- hubby´s answer to the prices rocketing through the roof.
I am glad that I never thought of having fish in our tiny pond. One of our neighbours has a bigger one, with lots of goldfish in it. The fish are gone. She had not fed them for two days, and when she showed up with the fish feed no fish showed up- all gone. Another neighbour with a huge pond found the answer to the sudden disappearing- today two herons tried to fish in her pond. Her dogs were able to drive them away, but for how long?
