Happy Birthday, mum

...wherever you are.
Today would have been my mother's 90th birthday. It would have been a fantastic celebration, as always, although mum might have felt a bit lonely, because almost all of her friends have died during the last years...
Yesterday evening I was almost in bed, when hubby began to rant. Last flight to Salzburg airport had half an hour delay, so he was to pick up daughter and bring her to our house, because no public traffic at this time. Next time this happens she is to take a cab to her flat. Morning duty is okay, but evening duty... Old people want to go to bed early! From tomorrow on she will be with us for four days anyway. Four times getting up at three in the morning in a row will be hard on both of us. Good that I am the one who can go to bed again!
Watched a video clip about summer solstice sunrise in Stonehenge and thought Blessed be everyone there. Absolutely spectacular!
The horrible heatwave we got warned about has lasted for one day only. Sunday 36, yesterday 26, today 24. From now on it will be mild with lots of thunderstorms and rain. If I had my way heat wave could have stayed longer. Tonight I even had to get up and close the window in the studio, because the air in our bedroom was so cool- it was 13 degrees outside, and I, in good faith, had exchanged duvets for sheets!
