Age-related forgetfulness

Me not taking my medication in the evening led to a night with less sleep than I need. Usually I have chewable tablets next to my bed,
but they are finished, and I forgot to stock up on new ones. That´s one thing I dread- getting so old and oblivious that I forget to take my drugs. At six I gave up and got up. First thing drugs, then look if Vaire cat has recovered. She always has been picky with her food, so I tried a new brand. She took a few bites then started to retch, and did so all afternoon long. I have to say that the canned food did smell strange indeed, so strange that I disposed of it immediately. Today cat is better, no more retching, appetite is as always, sparse but existent- phew!
Hubby lost himself in grocery shopping again. I am not able to keep up with cooking all the things that need to get out of the fridge, before they go bad.
Cassian phoned today to tell us that he feels better now- means he will be with us on Friday. Now family two is sitting on needles, waiting if their second son has also caught the virus.
No pool today, it was moderately warm, but extremely muggy, and I practically stayed in the house all day long. on the other hand the rain that should have fallen must have lost its way, so I will have to water the vegetables. Not a big deal, except that I will break a sweat the moment I am out. Maybe a shower will be in order later!
