Surprise, surprise!

After having spent almost six weeks in car spa aka car repair shop, hubby's car is finally ready to get picked up tomorrow! I'd say it's about time! Even though I do not need my car so often, hubby the shopaholic tended to be off with it the exact moment I planned to use it. Well, you certainly can't be off, when car is off already!
Tomorrow should be Cassian day again, in case he's fully recovered. So after my early morning shift I'll pick our grandson up and bring him and hubby to the car repair shop, which is near the airport. Maybe the two will visit aunt Lil, she has not that much to do anyway, because a lot of charter flights get cancelled nowadays!
Got a heat warning from my insurance for today. It's 26 degrees, and I am frolicking in the pool. Oh dear, it s summer, and summer is very short, when you live next to a hill range. Middle of August, and that's it! From then on it's autumn, no matter how high the temperatures! Sun will be off behind the hill tops at five thirty then. Totally not funny, I want a new house! Too expensive? Yes, this might be the reason why we still live in the same place since 30 years!
I´ve made huge progress with knitting- forefront and back are done, as is one of the sleeves. Good that I achieved so much during the last days, because weekend is to be spent with sister and her family- nice, but extremely time consuming, and I need the jumper ready, when number three throws his birthday party at the beginning of July! Worst part is yet to come. like doing the collar and sew the parts together!
