Surprise, surprise!

I did it, huzzah! My fingers are sore, because the dino-patch is a thick one, but I did a spot landing, and jumper will go to Cassian the next hour. Family number two had to do a slight change of plans, because son is needed in job tomorrow morning, but husband mine will buy him a snack, pick him up from work and bring him to their house, where DiL will hopefully be ready for leaving. I say hopefully, because it's not always so. Almost six weeks without favourite grandson will be hard on hubby, even though our other grandchildren will do their best to replace him!
I have not picked up my new glasses, am still waiting for daughter's glasses to be ready for collection, too. Today I called the eye shop, and what did I get to know? Daughter's glasses got lost on the way to the shop. They ordered new ones, hopefully she will get them on Monday! And hubby called me hysterics! Hah!

It's quite warm today (33 degrees), and the air smells of the hay our farmers are doing, all of them! In many regions of Europe there's no grass left by heat and drought, but here it's green and lush- except for our garden, but who does thatch the lawn at such temperatures (well, hubby does)! We never had three days in a row with such fine weather. No rain, no thunderstorms- but tomorrow luck will come to an abrupt end. Number three will be delighted(?) to finally see rain again!
