Aug. 9th, 2022 05:32 pmSon number three sent me a shopping list with items I won´t even get in our shops (local products mostly from Lower Austria), and one I am not ready to pay for, because there are cheaper brands. Honestly, who is willing to pay for half a litre of elderberry syrup eight Euros! And no, it´s not a bio bio bio brand, but one regularly sold in all shops here.
I had to do a drive to a garden centre, because my beloved petunia is covered in lice and needs protection agents. I also bought a bunch of asters for the garden, four of them meant for the plant buckets next to the entrance door. I´ll need more flowering plants, but darn, even those underwent an enorm price push! Sixty euros for ten small plants, I don´t get it! Elsa will help me to plant them, she loves garden work, or so she says. For now she is frolicking in the pool. Not the Elsa we usually get. Maybe the arrival of Prince Mattheus did her some good, I have no objections!
And now I am off, to pick up daughter then my new glasses. This time I will not forget about the well-intentioned advice to leave glasses out when taking a bath in the saltwater pool. Saltwater might kill the antireflective coating...
