Aug. 14th, 2022 07:53 pmHusband mine loves his meals spicy, me, too. But watch out! While you barely can sit next to hubby without having a sneezing attack, when he generously spreads freshly grounded pepper over whatever he has on his plate (except sweet desserts, of course), he does not cope well with chillies and the like. So today's bulgogi was a bit too spicy for him, even though it was not that hot, because I forgot to buy gochujang. Sorry, husband dearest, but I haven't found a way to add chilli flavour after the frying process yet! My meat gets marinated in all those tasty hot spices then gets tossed into the frying pan! Daughter will be delighted, hubby not so much!
The older our Vaire cat gets, the less of her brain seems to be active. She has been an indoor cat from the day she came into our house with her siblings. Of course, she made it out now and then, where we would pick her up from a hiding place, because, you can guess, all the other cats and dogs and loud sounds confused her, so that she was glad when she was able to get into the house again. Only once she made it onto the roof of the conservatory and did enjoy her time out. Today I found her stuck between the conservatory´s window (not!!! tilted but tied up, with a screen on the outside, in case you will go after me because of neglecting this important rule in a house with cats). The gap is so narrow that I thought no sane cat with a brain would try to get out this way. Apparently after sixteen years there´s no brain left inside CVaire´s pretty head...
I just had to pick my daughter up at the train station, because the bus she usually takes to our house did never arrive. Next one- one hour later. Good, that I bought her a ticket to be able to use all sorts of public transport in Austria, trains included! We will have a nice evening in front of the TV, before the two of us will have to go to bed early. This night should be a clear one, I am curious if I will be able to see some shooting stars after getting back home. I got up Friday morning at five, alas, it was too bright already. Today I tried again at three in the morning, after I thought that the moon had vanished behind the hills. Turned out that the moon had not vanished but got obscured by clouds. Wish me luck, I so love shooting stars!
