Dec. 2nd, 2022 06:28 pm...but no snow at all. It did drizzle for about ten minutes around midday, and that was all we got. Son sent me a picture of a few snowflakes that came down where he lives. My friend sent me one with a lot of snow in it. We in the middle- nothing, as always. I have to admit that even if I do not love snow, I am a bit disappointed. Tomorrow sister and I will meet at a nearby Christkindl market, and we are supposed to have foehn instead of winter weather. Not very romantic, I'd say!
Today we picked up our Christmas tree. On Fridays in advent a farmer in the vicinity sells his trees, and at a good price at that. DiL came, too. The tree she chose is tiny in comparison to ours. Their living room is one unit combined with the kitchen and the dining area, but it's huge, about 40 square metres! That tree will look ridiculous, but as long as DiL insists that Flavius needs a playpen and a portacrib in the livingroom, even such big place will give you the impression of being too small.
I finally installed the metal fairies and angels to the windows of the living room, but will have to clean the kitchen windows before continuing. I still do not feel festive, I still haven't baked any cookies. I wanted to do so this morning, but then I remembered that I had to do a trip to the vet, to pick up Vaire's medication. 65 Euros gone, but that cat is worth the money.
Lady dwarf is finished, now I am up to doing the contours and the Christmas tree. And it's about time to start Elsa's cardigan...
