Dec. 4th, 2022 06:26 pmStill not a bit of baking done by me, but I finally grinded all my walnuts. Hubby and I got up early, the sun came out, though it was fairly cool, and we did a bit tidying up the garden. Alas, around midday fog came back, and we decided to cancel the trip to the fair next town. Hubby drove to sister's flat instead. Now that the heating seems to be okay again, one of the radiators is acting up. Seems that the inlet valve is broken...
Daughter did not come today, but will do so tomorrow. Her first work shift will be on Friday, and there's good news also- no shift for her at Christmas! There's two four-in-the-morning shifts in the middle of December, when either hubby or I will drive her to the airport, but that's okay for me, usually I am up at this time. For instance, today I ordered three books from Amazon- at three in the morning!
Stitching is done except for the contours, my friend will bring black embroydery thread on Tuesday, so that I can finally finish this task, then I will be able to concentrate on baking (yuck), cleaning (more yuck) and knitting (ultimate yuck). The clammy weather outside does no good to my old body- all my joints hurt, but fingers and elbows are worst. Not at all good for knitting!
