The day started so dark and grey and stayed this way, that the lights had to be on all the time. No snow, as we thought we´d get, at least until late afternoon, when finally the clouds decided to get rid of their load. Now it is snowing, not heavily, but enough to close the footprints Cassisn left in the blanket of snow. Since it was not only dark but cold also, I decided to stay at home and maybe do some knitting instead of hunting diet food for the cat- cat food, especially special one, is hard to get these days! There´s a few tins left, which will last into the next week, but I swear that I will try tomorrow before coffee time- pet shop is not far away from the coffee shop! Ten kilometres less driven which will save a bit of sprit, sprit that husband mine uses up in abundance. Shopping? At least twice a day. The older some men get, the more wasteful they act...
Dark days are not made for needlework, yet I managed to do some rows on the pink bow, actually, I finished the knitting with the last piece of yarn. No more pink in the box and under the bed- now I will have to wait for a next visit of our grandson, because he has chosen the colours and will have to redispose now. Not that I liked his choice, he is a true son of his artsy mother and loves combinations of colours that will make me cringe, but it's he who has to be happy with the new pillow! He wanted a red heart with a pink heart on it, and a violet border... My eyes won't get blind when knitting and crocheting this abnormity. At least I hope so...
