Tonight I woke around two in the morning having a full-fledged asthma attack. Havent´t had one for a long time, I think the last ones I had was when travelling New Zealand, and at that time I was gravely ill, with covid-like symptoms- only that no one knew about covid then. I always have my asthma spray ready at the nightstand, when I have a bad cough like the one I have now, but still! It takes some time for me and my breathing to calm down again, and it´s best done without hubby´s presence, because he always tends to hysteria. Needless to say that not much got done by me save a bit of tidying then cooking. Just when I thought I´d go up to the bedroom to catch up on sleep, DiL with Cassian and Flavius in tow came for a visit and stayed for lunch, so I had to do an after-lunch nap, when the house was quiet again. I do not like to drive, when I am so tired, but I had promised to number four and five that I´d bring them to my favourite shopping center just beyond the German border. The two love the shops there, too, must be because the bill is on mum. We came back home quite late after an additional coffee break in the restaurant. They also have excellent chestnut cake there. And in the supermarket they sold baking ingredients, leftovers from Christmas baking, at a quarter of the original price. 200 gramme ground almonds and hazelnuts at 79 cents, sliced almonds at 49 cents, all good until July - I was not able to resist and bought a few packages! Now I am up in the studio to watch TV, because hubby is down in the TV room watching soccer, football, whatever you call it! And I thought that this boring game would still be in the hands of Sky! Apparently that was just a pipe dream!
