Yesterday, when I was just brushing my teeth, I noticed that the tooth with the new crown did hurt, but only a bit. During night it did not feel so bad (mostly because I was asleep), but in the morning hours the strange ache got worse and spread all over the right side of the jaw. Not so much when I did not bite down, but quite so when I tried to eat. At the moment the whole right side of jaw and neck are hurting, and my ear on this side, too. No clue if this is connected to the bad head cold I have, but it is annoying! Very annoying, if I may say so! I spent the day with moping and resting and doing absolutely nothing, only had to do lunch- Kartoffelpuffer which I was not even able to eat, because those, you certainly know, have to be crunchy, and crunchy is not what you want to eat when you have a toothache. And as ill luck would have it I am out of painkillers of the strong sort. Not my day, indeed! If toothache is still there on Monday, I will have another problem: My dentist has been on skiing holiday, so lots of people with toothache will need an appointment on Monday! Lucky me! I think I have just won the jackpot! Old age must have set in, and I am truly falling apart...
