Thank you, daughter!
Mar. 26th, 2023 05:44 pm Husband mine did it again- pretended not to hear my plans for the weekend-cooking and came back from the shops with things which needed immediate processing, like a big bag of champignons. Now I do like mushrooms, but as a side dish only. That´s when daughter sent me her recipe, and it turned out great. This dish will definitely be on our menue more often, even though hubby complained about the absence of meat of any kind. Well, he would have gotten chicken, had he left the mushrooms in the shop!
Daughter´s lectures will be held online tomorrow. Since she got wind of me trying a new ramen recipe she invited herself for lunch. Lectures will be in the afternoon, our internet is better than hers anyway! Cooking will turn into a bit of a hassle, with hubby having a date with his car repair shop at one and daughter having lessons at two in the afternoon. So daughter and I decided to join up at the Chinese food shop then drive back home in my car together then cook- together, of course. Hubby will get his ramen when he is back from tire change!
Hubby had to go to the car show alone, Cassian has a pinkeye and has already infected his brother and father. Poor guy was very sad, he loves ca shows! Hubby has sent him a lot of photos of cars he likes. And he bought us our favourite sweets, the ones you usually only get at fairs. While he was off, I managed to finally get the big rug out from under the sofa and dragged it down to the main floor. Hubby ignored it for a while and began to vacuum his car. When I urged him for a second time to shake it out on the terrace, it was already too late- rain and strong winds had set in again. I brought forth the vacuum cleaner and passed it on to hubby- serves him right, it had been his job to get that monster clean! He would have had an easier job if he had shaken it out... In a few days, after this hopefully last return of winter for this season, we will turn off the gas heating and continue with the wood-burning stove. Then a big warm rug on the tiles will be more than appreciated by the young ones, who are used to playing on the floor! Next thing I have to do is find a way to get the old cabinet out of the studio for a while. Maybe daughter will be able to help me after she is finished with her letures. Depends on which bus she intends to take back to her flat, because this time she won´t be able to sleep in her old room- Tuesday it´s back to Kufstein for more lectures!
