Change of plans

 I almost did not make it to the flea market today. My digestive system has acted up once again, and at six in the morning I gave up on sleeping and got up. Tea for breakfast is something I usually won´t do. Not that I do not like tea, but the first cup I have, if I even bother with preparing one, is in the afternoon, after I have stopped drinking coffee. Hubby persuaded me that a visit to the flea market might be fun nevertheless, and fun it was. I met two colleagues from school and DiL number two and am now the proud owner of a horde of dinosaurs, the biggest one half a metre tall. After flea market hubby and I drove to the DIY market in a hurry, because weatherforecast bode ill again. Turned out that it was not as bad as predicted, at least in the morning, but the crack in the window edging needed sealing, and the insulating boards we bought are cut and fitted now. Which is good, because a lot of cold comes down to the first floor from above. You'll feel it, when the heating is mostly off. And since winter will be back for another visit this weekend isolation is very welcome. Needless to say that my computer desk is still in his old place. Yet I am glad that hubby and I made big progress. The floors are covered with white styrofoam pellets, and hubby is just chasing them with the vacuum cleaner. Outside bad weather has finally arrived. Strong winds have made short work of the remnants of hubby´s housing for the plants, and it's too dark to even go out into the conservatory to continue with the jigsaw. I am hell-bent on finishing it before Easter, because we will need the table for Easter brunch- seems that we will have more guests than expected. Speaking of guests- hubby forgot to tell me that sister will come for a visit tomorrow, together with her husband and her daughter. I only came to know when she phoned me and asked me if she should bring cake...
