Can you hear me?
May. 2nd, 2023 07:41 pm I spent the morning doing paneer, made of the two litres of milk hubby had bought for last week's visit of family number three. No one had wanted milk this time, so this was a good way to use it up. I marinated paneer in a sea of sriracha, garlic, lemon and garam masala mixed with plain jogurt. Before hubby left for his doctor appointment, I told him to bring white bread. What he brought was American toast. Paneer and chicken breast were ready for consumation, so toast it was. My hearing is bad at the moment, but hubby's is much worse...
Then my friend phoned and told me that she was on her way to our favourite shopping centre together with her brother, and if I needed something she could shop for me. I said no, which was true for the moment, then sat down and did a bit of knitting. I soon realised that I should have bought more wool. Alas, friend was already back home. The trip must have been sheer toture for her because of her brother's wife. She has a migraine now. I jumped in my car, drove to the shop and did get exactly one ball of wool. All sold out in the colour I need. But I found a wool that will complement the other one quite fine. Thoroughly worn out I went back home and started a fight with my printer, one which I always lose. Hubby did exchange all colour cartridges, so that I finally was able to print out daughter's documents. Hubby can't do it on his own printer, because he has fed it too many non-original cartridges. There's a point when each of those modern printers will say no, no more and will not even accept original cartridges anymore, and will end up in the bin. But two sets of original cartridges cost as much as a new printer, that's crazy!
My antibiotic diet is turning my skin into one of a teenager with acne- pustules in the face, on the chest... thank heaven that it's over soon! I really hate to have to go out with a spotty face!
